Connect Claude (or whichever AI you use) to your Ratio account and ask it in a chat for what you'd do by hand: see what's pending, create tasks, move them between statuses, comment. You connect it once and no API key is needed.

What you need

  • A Ratio account. If you don't have one, sign up for free at ratioteams.com.
  • Claude (web, desktop app or mobile), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other AI that supports MCP connectors.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Browse and search for Ratio.
  2. Open Ratio's listing and click Connect. Ratio opens: log in with your account and click Allow.
  3. That's it. In a new chat, ask “What do I have in Ratio?”.

Can't find Ratio in the search? Click Add custom connector, name it Ratio and paste this URL: https://ratioteams.com/api/mcp

In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --scope user --transport http ratio https://ratioteams.com/api/mcp once, then in Claude Code run /mcp → ratio → Authenticate.

For ChatGPT, Cursor and others, the steps are in Ratio, under Credentials → MCP connector.

What you can ask

  • “What tasks do I have pending this week?”
  • “Create a task in the Web project: fix the login on Safari, and assign it to me.”
  • “Move the login task to done and leave a comment with what changed.”
  • “What's still open in the current sprint? Close it and move what's left to the next one.”
  • “Build the checklist for the onboarding task with these steps: …”

What it can do

The same as you in Ratio, with your permissions: it only sees your spaces and projects, and it can't do anything your account can't. Everything it does is recorded in each task's history under your name. Actions that change or delete data are marked as such, and Claude asks for your confirmation before running them.

Disconnect it

In Ratio, under Credentials, click Disconnect next to the app. It loses access immediately. You can also remove it from Claude's connectors.

Ratio only receives the requests the AI makes, not your conversations. Details in the privacy policy.
